The Department of Public Works reported that a water main has ruptured in Middle River.

DPW says an 8-inch main has broken in the the 3800 block of Middle River Avenue (21220).

Approximately 40 residents and one fire hydrant are currently without service.

There has been no ETA on repairs.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
