PARKVILLE, MD—Police are investigating a shooting that was reported overnight in the Parkville area.

At just after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, officers responded to the 1800-block of Taylor Avenue (21234) for a reported shooting but were unable to locate a victim.

A short time later, police responded to a local hospital after an adult male walked in suffering from a gunshot wound.

Authorities determined that the victim had been shot in the 1800-block of Taylor Avenue.

Detectives are actively investigating this incident. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to call police at 410-307-2020.
