EDGWOOD, MD—A man is recovering, and detectives are investigating, following a shooting in Edgewood on Wednesday night.
At just after 9 p.m. on January 17, 2024, deputies with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Harford Square Drive at O & P Court for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 1 22-year-old Rosedale man who had sustained gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body.
Deputies immediately rendered first aid until medics arrived. The victim was subsequently transported by Maryland State Police Medivac to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for care. He is currently listed in critical condition.
Investigators responded to the area to collect and preserve physical evidence. No further information is being released at this time.
