HARFORD COUNTY, MD—Due to the forecasted high impact storm, Harford County Public Schools schools and offices will close three hours early on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
There will be no afterschool activities or afterschool daycare on Tuesday. Second shift custodians are not to report.
HCPS officials say the timing of the storm would have an impact on the dismissal process and consequent bus routes and activities. Additional information can be found online here at HCPS.
A Flood Watch and Wind Advisory have been issued for much of the area with heavy rains, flooding, and damaging winds expected on Tuesday.
