TOWSON, MD—Due to expected severe weather, all Baltimore County Public Schools after-school activities, athletic games, and practices will be cancelled on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Additionally, the Board of Education business meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 will move to a virtual format and can be viewed on BCPS-TV (Comcast channel 73 and Verizon channel 34) and online.

BCPS officials will monitor conditions tomorrow, reassess this decision, and share any changes to school system operations by 10 a.m.

Heavy rains, potential flooding, and high winds are expected on Tuesday afternoon and evening.
