ESSEX, MD—Dramatic video has emerged from the lockdown situation at Kenwood High School earlier this morning.

Authorities said the school was placed on lockdown on Friday morning while a police investigation was under way.  Eastern Tech and Stemmers Run Middle were also placed on lockout status as a precaution.

Video circulating online shows students running from the building as apparent SWAT team members enter the school.

The lockdown has since been lifted and the scene is now clear.  All students are safe and accounted for.
