NOTTINGHAM, MD—A few big winning tickets were sold in and around the Nottingham area over the past week, Maryland Lottery officials announced on Monday.
In all, 31 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold or redeemed around the state in the seven days ending August 7, and the Lottery paid more than $28.5 million in prizes during that span.
A winning $25,000 Pick 5 ticket was sold on August 7 at the Royal Farms store located at 9620 Belair Road in Perry Hall (unclaimed as of Aug. 8). A winning $10,331.40 Racetrax ticket was sold on August 3 at 8 Days A Week Liquor located at 1700 Taylor Avenue in Parkville (claimed).
In nearby news, a winning $50,000 Bonus Match 5 ticket was sold on August 4 at the Royal Farms store located at 1601 Middleborough Road in Essex (unclaimed as of Aug. 8) and a winning $15,727 Racetrax ticket was sold on August 7 at the Giant store located at 8100 Loch Raven Boulevard in Towson (claimed).
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.
Draw game winners have 182 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prizes, and scratch-off winners have 182 days from the announced end-of-game date.
