UPDATE 2: BCPS officials say one student was injured after a vehicle crashed through the wall of a classroom at the school.

UPDATE: Students are being allowed to return to the building. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.

CARNEY, MD—Police are responding after a vehicle struck a Carney school on Thursday morning.

At around 9 a.m., the Baltimore County Police Department said that a motorist had crashed into Pine Grove Middle School on Old Harford Road.

Students are currently being evacuated from the school building.

There has been no word on any injuries.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
