House fire reported in Parkville

Crews are heading to the scene of a Thursday evening house fire in Parkville. At about 5 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the 1800 block of White Oak Avenue (21234). At the scene, crews found a deck fire in the rear of the home. There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use caution in the area.

Water main break reported in Parkville

Officials say a Thursday morning water main break has left some Parkville residents without service. An eight-inch main has ruptured at Waldor Drive and Sarah Lane (21234). Approximately twelve customers are currently without service as a result of the break. There has been no ETA given on repairs. Motorists should use caution in the area.
