SHA to make safety improvements along Eastern Avenue

Downed tree shuts down Harford Road

Motorists heading north from the Nottingham area should avoid Harford Road. At about 5 p.m. on Thursday, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported that Harford Road had been shut down near Reckord Road in Harford County. The road was closed due to a downed tree blocking all lanes. Motorists should use an alternate route.

Belair Road shut down in Perry Hall

Crash shuts down Route 40 ramp

Crews are on the scene of a Wednesday morning crash in White Marsh. At about 10:45 a.m., the Maryland State Highway Administration reported that the ramp from westbound Route 40 to Route 43 had been shut down due to the crash. There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use caution in the area.  

Remnants of Florence cause mudslide, closed roads

The remnants of Hurricane Florence began pushing through the Nottingham area in the wee hours on Tuesday. Thunderstorms and heavy rains were reported in many areas overnight.
