Portion of MD-702 shut down due to crash

ESSEX, MD – Crews are on the scene of a Wednesday morning crash in Essex. The crash was reported at about 10:45 a.m. along MD-702 at Old Eastern Avenue. The Maryland State Highway Administration reports that southbound MD-702 has been shut down at Old Eastern Avenue. There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use an alternate route.
