ESSEX, MD—Motorists approaching the Nottingham area from Essex via I-695 should expect heavy delays. The outer loop of I-695 has been shut down at Route 702 due to a vehicle fire. The fire was reported at just before 3 p.m. There has been no word on any injuries. Motorists should use an alternate route.
