Water main break reported in Overlea

A water main break is affecting some Overlea residents on Wednesday. The Department of Public Works reports that an eight-inch main has ruptured in the 5400-block of Trumps Mill Road (21206). Thirty residents and two fire hydrants are currently without service. There has been no ETA on repairs. Motorists should use caution in the area.

Empty kayak found in Gunpowder River

The Maryland Natural Resources Police are attempting to locate the owner of a kayak that was found in the Gunpowder River. The yellow Cobra Tandem was found in Harford County’s Joppatowne Canal on Tuesday morning. The kayak did not have any registration numbers on it. The rightful owner is asked to call MDNRP at 410-260-8888.
