Crews battled a house fire in Kingsville overnight. The fire was reported at just before 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the 7700-block of Chapman Road. Arriving units found smoke showing from a two-story single-family dwelling and advised that there was possibly fire within the walls. There was no word on any injuries.

Authorities are on the scene of a Saturday night shooting near Rosedale. At about 8 p.m., officers responded to the 5300-block of Hamilton Avenue (21206) for a report of shots fired. At the scene, paramedics found one adult male shooting victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh. No suspect information is available at this time.

Police are attempting to determine the circumstances surrounding a shooting that occurred on Wednesday night along Whitby Road.
