Water main break reported in Carney

A water main break in Carney has left some local residents without water. The Department of Public Works reports that an eight-inch diameter water main has ruptured in the 3300-block of Appleton Avenue (21234). Approximately sixty residents and two hydrants are currently without service. There has been no ETA on repairs.

Serious crash reported near Overlea

Crews are on the scene of a serious, Saturday evening crash near Overlea. The crash was reported at just before 6:30 p.m. in the 5100-block of Hazelwood Avenue (21206). Two vehicles were involved in the accident. There are reportedly 7 total patients. Additional medic units have been requested. Motorists should avoid the area.
