JOPPA, MD—One person was seriously injured in a crash in the Joppa area on Monday evening.

At around 7 p.m. on August 4, units from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded after a vehicle crashed into a tree in the 2700-block of Old Joppa Road.

One patient was flown by Maryland State Police Aviation Command to Shock Trauma with serious injuries.

Old Joppa Road was shut down briefly for crash investigation.
