JMVFC seeks to reunite lost husky with owner

JOPPA, MD—Fire officials in Harford County are hoping to reunite a lost dog with its owner. The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company says the female husky pictured above was found at the Mountain Road (MD 152) exit off of I-95 in Joppa. The dog is currently staying at the firehouse. Harford County denies request to close Joppa Road at CSX railroad crossing in Joppa

Crews battle brush fire in Joppa

JOPPA, MD—Crews battled a brush fire in Joppa on Friday evening. The fire was reported on February 16 in the 2400-block of Taylor Brook Lane. Units from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, and Fallston Volunteer Fire Company were able to contain the blaze before it could extend to any homes.
