MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Crews responded to a serious crash in the Middle River area overnight.

At just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, units responded to a motor vehicle collision with entrapment on Eastern Avenue at Mariners Point Drive (21220).

Emergency personnel worked for about 30 minutes to free the driver of the vehicle, according to Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Rescue & Marine.

Eastern Avenue remained closed for an extended period following this incident.

There has been no word on any injuries.
