JOPPA, MD—Crews responded to a crash on Interstate 95 in Joppa overnight.

At around 11 p.m. on Thursday night, units from Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company and Abingdon Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle accident on northbound I-95 near Exit 74 (Mountain Road/MD-152).

One vehicle overturned onto its side in the crash and firefighters performed a windshield removal in order to extract a trapper individual.

The patient was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.
