PARKVILLE, MD—A new food pantry will open its doors in Parkville this week.

The Y of Central Maryland will open a new Y Fresh Mart food pantry at the The Y in Parkville on Wednesday morning.

Officials say that, in response to food insecurities that exist throughout local communities, the Y has partnered with the Maryland Food Bank to open a community-based food pantry in Parkville.

The new Y Fresh Mart in Parkville will be open on Tuesdays from 3 – 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The Y in Parkville is located at 8910 Waltham Woods Road (21234) in the North Plaza Shopping Center.
