DUNDALK, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting that occurred on Saturday afternoon.
At just before 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the 2000-block of Inverton Road (21222) for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a 37-year-old male inside of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began rendering aid before the victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. At this time, police believe this was targeted incident.
As detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident, they are asking anyone who may have information about this crime or the individual(s) who committed it is asked to contact police at 410-307-2020.
