ESSEX, MD—Police have arrested a suspect in connection with last month’s fatal shooting in Essex.

Homicide detectives have arrested 46-year-old Matthew Wright in the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Adrian Hutton.

At around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, Hutton was found seriously injured in the unit block of S. Marlyn Ave (21221), suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  He would later die from his injuries.

Wright has been charged with second-degree murder and remains held at the Baltimore County Detention Center held without bond.
