UPDATE: Conrad’s Seafood Restaurant will be relocating to the former Sol Oaxaca location. Conrad’s ownership approached Sol Oaxaca and made them an offer on the property, so the Sol Oaxaca relocation was not due to “the curse.”

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Sol Oaxaca on Tuesday announced that it would be closing its doors in Perry Hall.
The restaurant opened its doors in May 2022. The owners say they will be reopening soon in a new location, but details haven’t been announced.
Many restaurants have come and gone at 9629 Belair Road over the years, including Damon’s, Basta Pasta, La Cocina Diablo, Hive Bistro, and even a Bill Bateman’s.
“We want to the thank all the guests who have ever walked through our doors,” the restaurant said in a Facebook post. “Especially to the guests who became regulars and to the regulars who became friends, we will be forever grateful.”
