PERRY HALL, MD—Conrad’s Seafood Restaurant in Perry Hall is relocating.
On the same day that Sol Oaxaca announced that they would be relocating, Conrad’s in Perry Hall announced that they would be moving down the street to the former Sol Oaxaca location.
“In early 2024, we will be relocating across the street to 9629 Belair Rd to continue serving our amazing customers,” Conrad’s said in a social media post. “We have the opportunity to own the property and solve our parking problems all at the same time! Stay tuned for more details!”
Andrea Conrad tells NottinghamMD.com that Conrad’s approached Sol Oaxaca and made them an offer on the property, therefore the relocation of Sol Oaxaca was not due to “the curse.”
“Like so many local residents, I am saddened by the closing of Sol Oaxaca,” said Councilman David Marks. “My family ate here frequently; we loved the great food and music. I hope Sol Oaxaca can find another location nearby, and offer any assistance the owners may need.”
“Conrad’s is a hometown favorite and I am confident will become a longtime fixture at the new site,” Councilman Marks added. “They won’t have landlord issues, and the parking will be abundant.”
