JOPPA, MD—A downed tree has closed a roadway in Harford County.

At around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported that a downed tree had brought wires down on Trimble Road near Averill Road.

BGE crews are responding to the scene and Trimble Road is currently shut down.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
