NOTTINGHAM, MD—Authorities are investigating after fireworks were tossed into a vehicle and a restaurant in White Marsh on Wednesday afternoon.
At just before 3:45 p.m. on May 17, 2023, units from White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company responded to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of Value City Furniture on Campbell Boulevard. The fire was reportedly caused by fireworks that were tossed into the vehicle.
At the same time, a WMVFC engine responded to an incident at the Chipotle on Campbell Boulevard involving fireworks that were reportedly tossed inside the lobby.
Police are searching for the juveniles involved after they reportedly fled toward Philadelphia Road.
