GLEN ARM, MD—Crews responded to the scene after a tree fell onto power lines in Glen Arm.

The incident was reported on Tuesday evening in the 12000-block of Hooper Lane.

The tree immediately burst into flames and the road was temporarily closed.  Some nearby residents briefly lost power

Units from Long Green Volunteer Fire Company were able to bring the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported.
