JOPPA, MD—Crews are on the scene of a serious, Friday afternoon crash in Joppa.

The crash was reported at just before 4:30 p.m.  in the 500-block of Trimble Road.

One adult female is seriously injured and will be transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

Trimble Road has been shut down between Joppa Rose and Williams Lane.

Motorists should use an alternate route.
