ABERDEEN, MD—Loud noise alert!
Aberdeen Proving Ground officials have announced that the base will conduct firing tests this week.
APG has firing operations schedule daily from Tuesday, August 16 through Friday, August 20, between approximately 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. the following day.
Operations will end by 4:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20th.
The surrounding communities may hear weapon fire and see flashes of light visible off-post from illumination devices. These operations are not hazardous to residents and are integral to ensuring continued readiness of service members. Nighttime firing is not anticipated to be heard off the installation.
