NOTTINGHAM, MD—A suspect is in police custody following a robbery at a local middle school on Wednesday.
At just before 2:15 p.m. on May 4, a School Resource Officer at Perry Hall Middle School, located in the 4300-block of Ebenezer Road, was approached by a student who advised that they had been robbed.
During the incident, the student said that the suspect presented a knife and demanded their cell phone.
The Baltimore County Police Department tells NottinghamMD.com that the School Resource Officer was able to identify the suspect responsible, and subsequently placed them under arrest. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the suspect was a fellow student at Perry Hall Middle School.
The suspect is a juvenile, and police say charges are being pursued.
