NOTTINGHAM, MD—A new, manned donation center opened in White Marsh.
GreenDrop held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the parking lot at White Marsh Mall on Friday morning.
“This morning, I joined Councilwoman Cathy Bevins and Senator Kathy Klausmeier at the opening of GreenDrop at White Marsh Mall,” said Councilman David Marks. “This is a manned recycling center. Unlike boxes that never seem to get emptied, you can drop off household goods and clothing here knowing the items will be handled and put to good use.”
“Councilwoman Bevins sponsored the bill that allowed this site at White Marsh Mall near the Burger King,” Councilman Marks added. “I followed up with legislation to broaden it throughout the county (a Towson site is in the works). The mall is a great location and I thank Councilwoman Bevins for her work.”
