NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service says strong storms are possible in the Baltimore area on Monday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected on Monday afternoon.

Some storms have the potential to be strong to severe and produce locally damaging winds along with isolated instances of flooding.

Residents should exercise caution and stay tuned to local forecasts.
