TOWSON, MD—The body of a female discovered dead along a walking trail near Loch Raven Reservoir on Friday, May 29, has been identified.
The Baltimore County Police Department says that the body, at first believed to be that of an adult female, is that of 16-year-old Gabriella Alejandra Gonzalez-Ardon from Glen Cove, New York, who had been missing since July 2019.
She was identified by family members after they reported her missing.
An individual found the girl’s body, which had reportedly been dismembered, along the Merrymans Trail in the area off of Pot Spring Road near Colonade Road (21030) at just before 10 a.m. on May 29th.
Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
