Purse snatched in Nottingham, Carney business burglarized, boy assaulted in Parkville

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 2 p.m. on Friday, January 24, and 8 a.m. on Monday, January 27, an individual removed a master lock from a shed in the rear of the Lawn Crew business, located in the 3300-block of E. Joppa Road in Carney (21234). The suspect stole lawn equipment from the shed and fled.

At 10 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, an individual grabbed a woman’s purse from her hands in the unit block of Dunhaven Place in Nottingham (21236).  The suspect then fled on foot.

At just after 4 p.m. on Monday, January 27, a juvenile was on his scooter in the area of Northview Road and Ridgely Oak Road in Hillendale/Parkville (21234) when he was approached by four juvenile suspects. The suspects assaulted the boy and stole his scooter. The scooter was later recovered and the four suspects were located and arrested.

At just after 6 p.m. on Monday, an individual broke into an apartment on Kinwall Place in Fullerton (21236) via a locked sliding glass door. A wallet was stolen and a television was damaged.
