MIDDLE RIVER, MD—Crews are on the scene of a Wednesday afternoon apartment fire in Middle River.

The fire was reported at about 3 p.m. in the 800-block of Wilson Point Road (21220).

At the scene, crews found smoke showing from a multi-story apartment building with possible people trapped.

Authorities believe the blaze began as a kitchen fire.

There has been no word on any injuries.

Motorists should use caution in the area.
