ESSEX, MD—Police are on the scene of a Wednesday evening shooting in Essex.

The shooting was reported at around 6 p.m. at the McDonald’s in the 200-block of Back River Neck Road (21221).

One male victim has been shot and is said to be in trauma arrest.

There is no suspect information at this time.

This is the second shooting in Essex in 24 hours as there was also a shooting reported on Tuesday night.
