Assault reported in Perry Hall, Checkers robbed, Parkville snowball stand burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported this week.

At just before noon on Monday, September 9, a man was arguing with an acquaintance in the 4100-block of Link Avenue in Perry Hall/Nottingham (21236). The suspect then assaulted the victim and threatened the victim at gunpoint.

Sometime between noon on Monday, September 9, and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, two individuals broke into a residence on the 4200-block of Silver Spring Road in Perry Hall (21128). The suspects stole multiple items, damaged several other items, and then fled.

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, and 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, an individual broke into Dean’s Shaved Ice, located in the 8400-block of Harford Road in Parkville (21234), causing damage to the door. The suspect stole cash and packs of cookies, then fled the scene.

Sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, an individual broke into a residence in the 3500-block of Fieldcreek Way in Parkville (21234) by forcing open a rear window. Once inside, the suspect stole two TVs, shoes, jewelry, and purses.

At just after 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, an employee at Checkers, located in the 1900-block of E. Joppa Road (21234), was taking out the trash when an individual forced him back into the restaurant at gunpoont. The suspect then stole cash and fled.
