NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating a residential burglary and a series of robberies that were reported over the past week.
Sometime between 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, and noon on Saturday, July 6, an individual broke into a home in the 5200-block of E. Joppa Road in Perry Hall (21128) via a first floor window. Once inside, the suspect ransacked the home and stole various purses, jewelry, and sunglasses.
At 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 5, a known individual in a vehicle called out a woman’s name in the 300-block of Grovethorn Road in Middle River (21220). The victim approached the vehicle and spoke with the suspect, who then grabbed her purse. A brief altercation ensued and the suspects fled the area with the woman’s purse.
At 3 p.m. on Friday, a known individual physically assaulted a victim on Left Wing Drive in Middle River (21220) and stole the victim’s cell phone. The suspect was subsequently arrested.
At just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, an individual demanded a man’s money and belongings in the area of Hillsway Avenue and Solar Circle (21234). The man handed over his belonging and the suspect fled on foot.
At just before 6 p.m. on Saturday, two individuals approached a woman in the 1100-block of Linkside Drive (21234) and, at gunpoint, demanded she give them her money. The victim handed over her purse and the suspects then fled the scene.
