Phone stores burglarized, man assaulted by burglar

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating several burglaries that were reported this week.

At about 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, an individual broke into the Metro PCS store located in the 1700-block of Chesaco Avenue in Rosedale (21237) by kicking in the front glass door. The suspect stole cell phones, Bluetooth devices, and a cash drawer before fleeing the scene.

At about 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, two individuals shattered the glass window at the Metro PCS store located in the 7700-block of Harford Road in Parkville (21234) and stole two display phones and cash from the cash drawer. The suspects then fled.

At 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, four individuals shattered the glass window of the Metro by T- Mobile store located in the 2000-block of East Joppa Road in Parkville (21234) to gain entry. Various items were stolen from the store.

At just after 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, a man arrived at him home in the 8200-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237) and was assaulted inside by an unknown individual. The suspect stole the victim’s wallet, cash, cell phone and then fled on foot.
