MIDDLE RIVER – Police are investigating a shooting in Middle River that injured a woman early on Saturday morning.

The woman, 21, had been dropped off at a home in the 100-block of Kingston Road (21220) when she was shot at least once in the upper body, sustaining life-threatening injuries.

She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident.
