Crews are on the scene of a serious, Thursday afternoon crash in Nottingham. 

At about 4:30 p.m., paramedics responded to the 7600 block of Belair Road for a report of an accident. 

A rescue operation is currently under way as patients are reportedly trapped in their vehicle. 

Motorists should use caution in the area.
