Essex Precinct investigating 4 burglaries

burglaryThe Essex Precinct is investigating four burglaries that were called in over the past week.

Sometime between noon on November 4 and 3:30 p.m. on November 6, someone entered a home in the 300 block of South Taylor Avenue, 21221, through a window and stole a power drill and nail gun. Boxed tiles were also broken.

Sometime between 11:20 p.m. on November 5 and 1:41 a.m. on November 6, someone entered a home 1300 block of Sugarwood Circle, 21221, through a window. Once inside, the suspect photographed the victim’s property and sent them via text message to the female victim, who he knew and who was not home at the time. The victim returned home to find that the items in the photographs were stolen from her home.

At just after 3 p.m. on November 8, the victim saw a juvenile suspect rummaging through a vehicle in her open garage in the 700 block of Luke Road, 21220, while another suspect was distracting her. Both suspects were located several blocks from the scene and were arrested.

Sometime between 6 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on November 9, someone entered a residence in the 800 block of Northrop Lane, 21220, through an unlocked front door. The suspect or suspects then stole two TVs, three game systems, four tablets, a laptop, a desktop computer and various watches.

Anyone with additional information on these crimes is asked to call police.
