Police are investigating after a burglar woke a sleeping Nottingham resident on Friday.
At about 8:45 a.m. on Friday morning, a suspect broke the sliding door glass to a residence on Glen Way, 21236, to gain entry.
Once inside, the suspect entered the bedroom where the victim was sleeping.
The victim awoke, saw the suspect and began to scream.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
No items were stolen.
