Police say a Parkville man has been arrested after wielding an axe during an argument.

Just before 2 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, officers responded to the 8700 Block of Yvonne Court, 21234, after an argument broke out.

During the course of the argument, the as-yet unidentified suspect exited the house and then returned with an ax.

The suspect then threatened one of the victims with the ax.

No injuries were reported and the suspect was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree assault.
