Two attempted burglaries reported in Rosedale

burglaryPolice are investigating a pair of attempted burglaries that took place in the Rosedale area this week.

At 9:48 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, a man took a ladder from an adjacent property and placed it up to the rear of a house in the 1500 block of National Road, 21237, and entered onto the patio. The suspect broke a rear window of the house, but then fled the scene.


At 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, a man entered a residence in the 8200 block of Dorset Avenue, 21237, via a bathroom window. Once inside, the suspect tripped the alarm and fled the scene. Nothing was taken.

Police have not indicated whether or not the two incidents were connected.
