Pair of crashes reported along Philadelphia Road

Emergency crews were responding to two crashes along Philadephia Road on Monday evening.

At just before 5:30 p.m., responders from the White Marsh Volunteer Fire company reported that they were responding to a crash at Route 7 and New Forge Road.

At about that same time, crews from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported that they were responding to the intersection of Route 7 and Joppa Farm Road.

There is no word on any injuries.

Last week, it was reported that a new, fully-functional traffic light would be installed at the intersection of Philadelphia Road and New Forge Road, after a spate of accidents there in recent months.
