House fire reported in Middle River

Crews are on the scene of a Saturday evening house fire in Middle River. At 6 p.m., fire personnel responded to the area of Navigator Court (21220). Upon arrival, crews found flames showing from a two-story dwelling. One female was reportedly trapped at the scene. She was rescued but sustained burns. There has been no word on any other injuries.

White Marsh baseball player makes Baseball Youth Elite team

A 9-year-old baseball player from Joppatowne is going places. Cameron Morgan, a White Marsh Warriors pitcher, recently participated in the Baseball Youth Future Games in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. North Carolina murder suspects arrested in Rosedale

Two murder suspects from North Carolina are now in police custody. On Thursday, the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police arrested two individuals from North Carolina who were wanted for murder and who had two firearms in their possession. Construction begins on WMVFC’s new station

Construction has begun on a local fire company’s new station. On Thursday, construction got underway on the new facility for the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company. The company has grown to over 200 members and has outgrown its 68-year-old facility on Ebenezer Road. The current station was built in 1949.
