House fire reported in Essex

Crews are on the scene of a Thursday morning fire in Essex. At just after 7:30 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the 900 block of Renfrew Street.  At the scene, crews found smoke showing from a single-family home.  There has been no word on any injuries.  Motorists should use caution in the area.

Police are investigating four local burglaries that have been reported within the past week. Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 14, and 6:30 a.m. on Monday, April 17, someone forcefully entered a job site in the 5200 block of King Avenue, 21237, via a temporary rear door. Disabled tractor-trailer causes major I-95 delays

A disabled tractor-trailer was causing major delays along Interstate 95 on Wednesday morning. At just before noon, the Maryland Transportation Authority said the truck was blocking the three right lanes along northbound I-95 just past exit 67/Route 43. There is currently a three-mile backup approaching White Marsh Boulevard. Motorists should use an alternate route.
