Crews are on the scene of a Thursday morning fire in Essex.

At just after 7:30 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the 900 block of Renfrew Street. 

At the scene, crews found smoke showing from a single-family home. 

There has been no word on any injuries. 

Motorists should use caution in the area.
