PERRY HALL, MD—Perry Hall High School senior Edgardo Ramos-Euceda has been named a recipient of the 2025 Latino Providers Network (LPN) Annual Community Service Award for his extensive work in the local Latino community.
Ramos-Euceda was honored for his leadership and advocacy in education and youth issues. As president of the “Unidos Somos Fuertes” Latino Student Union and the National Spanish Honor Society, he has been a prominent voice at Perry Hall High. He also serves on the school’s Equity Council and was recently featured on BCPS TV.
His advocacy extends beyond the school. Last year, Ramos-Euceda participated in several conferences, including the BCPS “Mind over Matters” Conference and the Latinx Education Collaborative/Revolution Educativa National Latino Educators Conference. He also spoke at the TABCO Black Lives Matter Symposium and co-hosted a “Lotería” scholarship fundraiser with the Latino Racial Justice Circle of Baltimore for Latino and immigrant youth.
Ramos-Euceda has also been actively involved with the Maryland Community WELL (Workgroup for English Language Learners), advocating for multilingual learners and addressing issues related to the Maryland Blueprint. His efforts have led to meetings with state legislators and educational leaders.
The LPN, established in 1992, is the Baltimore region’s only organization dedicated to uniting service providers for the Latino community. The awards are part of its annual Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, recognizing individuals who have made a significant difference.
